This is Carmella’s Story:

“Carmella the Fish had a mission. Being a girl fish of a certain age, she had just lost the love of her life, "The Guppy", and she was determined to find him. If Carmella had a middle name, it would be “Persistence” with a capital P.

One day, the Guppy was swimming with her in their pond in the small South Carolina village that they both inhabited, and the next day he was gone. But where? And why?

After contemplating the mystery of the Guppy’s disappearance, all the while swimming all over the small pond in search of him, she came to realize that the Guppy, somehow, had found another pond to swim in. Her little fish heart sank; did he no longer love her? She was heartbroken!

So where is the Guppy, and will she ever find him?”
